Author's Note for Nothing Ordinary
I've gotten a couple of messages, so I thought it would be a good time to address a couple of questions regarding Nothing Ordinary (and also my inability to tell the save draft button from the publish one)
This is just meant to be a quick FAQ in regards to this serial romance.
Number one: Is the story finished and can you just post it all at once?
No, it's not, so even if I wanted to, my answer would still be no. This is currently a work in progress. What does that mean? Well, a couple of things. I'm writing a few weeks ahead, but it does mean the previous chapters are subject to minor changes as I go. I have the whole thing mapped out, my a lot of the time my characters do what they feel like and don't listen to me, their author. So sometimes there will be plot holes that I will go back and fix.
Question Two: I just got an email saying a chapter was posted, but when I click it, nothing happens. Are you aware of this?
I am, because I'm a bit of a disaster and twice now hit publish instead of save draft. The next chapter will be out in four days, I promise.
Question Three: What series is this related to?
Here's a fun secret: it's a new MM Baseball romance series called Hit and Run, and book one will be coming out in February, just after Nothing Ordinary is finished posting.
Question Four: Your initial post said it would be updating on Mondays, but it hasn't. Did that change?
It did, mostly to consolidate my newsletter posts with releases and sales so I'm not spamming you sometimes twice a week. So now, there's a guaranteed chapter every week, but it might not be on Mondays. For instance, Chapter Two will be going out Wednesday because you get not only Nothing Ordinary's update, but you'll also be getting a free hockey Novella to read.
I think that pretty much covers it, but feel free to pop me a comment if there's something you'd like to know. And I promise to pay closer attention next time! Or at the very least, I promise to try lol!
